Article:	Several speak out against Christian invocation practice at council meetings Several residents addressed the Rowlett City Council on Tuesday, March 5, during the citizens' forum about the council's invocation policy. The council made changes to its invocation policy in 2010 to comply with a request from The Freedom From Religion Foundation that that practice was illegal based on the Constitution of the United States.
