Bobby J. "Killer" Smith, 83, went to his heavenly home on March 3, 2013.
His continuing good attitude and peace he had with his health issues were a testimony to his faith.He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, a loving brother and uncle and a forever friend to his coworkers and the many young men he coached and befriended.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Elizabeth "Beth"; daughter, Lunell Webber; sons, Bob Smith and wife, Gina and Clay Smith and wife, Sheryl; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Joy and Samantha Webber, Kerrie Howe, Chris, Caleb, Mikey and Dalton Smith; and nine great-grandchildren.
Bobby was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Mesquite, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Visitation will be at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
