Police calls for Aug. 13 - 19 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

Aug. 13

12:05 a.m. - Suspicious person in the 2600 block of Old Stables Drive. Reporting Person states there is a white male walking around her neighbor’s house. Unable to locate.

12:46 a.m. - Open garage door in the 2600 block of Stallions. Owner notified.

1:46 a.m. – Loose livestock at Farm-to-Market Road 455 and County Road 57. Loose horse, horse secured.

1:47 a.m. – Loose livestock at Farm-to-Market Road 455 and County Road 9. Horse in roadway. Located horse, owners agreed to house horse until owner comes for it.

12:15 p.m. – Motorist assist at Preston Road and County Road 94. Oversized load, driver wants assistance to go south on Preston through construction. Advised driver he will need an escort service and to plan a different route.

6:41 p.m. - Major accident at Frontier and County Road 83. Two-vehicle accident, one male transported to Baylor in McKinney.

8:45 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 400 block of East Beech Street. Reporting Person's neighbor backed into her mailbox. Took pictures and witness statement regarding incident. RP provided neighbor's name and vehicle number and advised that neighbor told them she would replace mailbox but RP wanted to file an information report to have something on paper just in case. Information report filed.

9:07 p.m. - Assist fire department, traffic control for structure fire in the 11000 block of County Road 95.

9:51 p.m. - Suspect identified in vandalism/criminal mischief from earlier in the 600 block of North Louisiana Drive. Officer spoke to suspect and she admitted to backing into the mailbox and advised she will make arrangements to replace the mailbox. She was advised that if she does not then the information report will be changed to an incident report and criminal charges will be filed. Information report taken.

10:04 p.m. - Follow-up investigation in the 300 block of Stefhanie Drive. Information about stolen vehicle. Reporting Person wanted to let Police Department know that he has seen some kids in the area on scooters and skateboards late at night. No report taken.

11:21 p.m – Traffic stop at Walnut and Ohio. Failed to signal turn. Driver admitted to drinking. SFST's administered. Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, third or more third degree felony. Cited for expired registration and no driver's license.

Aug. 14

12:21 p.m. – Two-vehicle minor accident in the 300 block of West Walnut Street. Accident report completed.

9:22 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Motion light in back yard keeps going off. At request of resident officer checked backyard and shed. Did not locate anyone. Shed and gate secured.

9:53 p.m. - Follow-up investigation in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Light coming on again. Did not locate anything in backyard.

10 p.m. - Back-up officer in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Assisted with suspicious circumstance.

Aug. 15

12:56 a.m. - Community policing in the 500 block of Mustang Trail. Open garage door, Crime card completed.

3:43 a.m. - 911 hang-up in the 300 block of North Illinois Drive. Hang-up, busy on call back. No problems, possible phone problems.

3:37 p.m. - Phone call from 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Reporting Person wants to cite several juveniles for criminal trespass from Carter Ranch pool. Follow-up required. Officer advised him that a person from the HOA board would have to be present during the criminal trespass. RP will call back at a later time when he has the person available.

5:36 p.m. - Suspicious person in the 100 block of Hillside Drive. There is a Hispanic female salesman going door-to-door offering to clean carpet. Subject driving in a black dodge pickup, last seen on north end of Hillside Drive. Checked area, unable to locate.

9:17 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Light Farms and Dallas North Tollway. White Ford sport utility vehicle driving around Light Farms. No offense occurred.

9:45 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of South New Mexico Drive. Possible pipe bomb laying in a cinder block at St. Phillip's Baptist Church. Information report completed.

9:51 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances at New Mexico and Oak. Possible pipe bomb. Backup only.

10:19 p.m. - Suspicious person in the 1200 block of Stanford. Kids in pool after hours. Unable to locate.

Aug. 16

6:36 a.m. - Motorist assist in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Motorist hit a piece of tire and needs a tow truck. Vehicle towed by LW's.

5:11 p.m. - Criminal trespass in the 300 block of South Louisiana Drive. Subject at location, won't leave. Subject gone upon officer's arrival. Reporting Person completed statement of criminal trespass. CTW was issued.

8 p.m. - Abandoned vehicle at Dallas Parkway and Frontier. Gray Land Rover parked on shoulder of road. Located owner, he was out walking his dogs.

Aug. 17

1:26 a.m. - Assist fire department in the 3000 block of Morgan Drive. Elderly male fell and was unable to get up. Dr. Shelton at location. Celina Fire Department transported patient.

2:31 a.m. – Suspicious person in the 100 block of West Malone. Drunk male passed out by the street. Subject was found passed out, intoxicated. Subject was woken up and told to go inside his house to sleep.

2:53 a.m. - Suspicious person in the 100 block of East Pecan Street. White male walking down Pecan holding a puppy. Male identified, he is visiting from Plano.

11:32 a.m. - Suspicious person in the 3000 block of Cedar Trail. White truck in driveway and subject is looking at house with binoculars. Electric provider reading the meter.

4:11 p.m. - Theft in the 2700 block of Old Stables Drive. Theft of bicycle. Offense report completed.

5:34 p.m. - Civil matter in the 1300 block of Tidwell Lane. Mud on owner's fence from construction worker. Officer spoke to driver of Bobcat and advised he could clean mud off the owner's fence or officer would charge him with vandalism. The driver cleaned the mud off the fence.

Aug. 18

7 a.m. – Juvenile problem in the 17000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Check on three juveniles walking on roadway near Denton County line. Located three juveniles at Old Celina Park and returned them to their parents.

8:45 a.m. – Juvenile problem at Arizona and Walnut. Juvenile from previous call ran from his mother's vehicle. Located juvenile and returned him to his mother.

11:36 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances in the 5300 block of Oak Bend Trail. Suspicious person left a card on Reporting Person's door last night and looked around the front of the house with a flashlight. Officer left a message for person who left the card to call the police department.

6:49 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 12000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Vehicle in parking lot of Old Celina Park. Vehicle secured, unoccupied. No report taken.

9:20 p.m. – Intoxicated person in the 300 block of South New Mexico. Possible distilled alcohol involved. Subject jumped in a green vehicle and left the scene. Reporting Person was not sure in what direction. Offense and threats reports filed..

11:12 p.m. – Community policing in the 500 block of Lippizan Trail. Open garage door, crime card completed.

Aug. 19

12:42 a.m. Parking violation in the 400 block of Tarpan Trail. Parked facing traffic. Parking violation card completed.

10:34 a.m. – Suspicious .circumstances in the 500 block of West Ash Street. Reporting Person heard six shots in area this morning. Unable to locate anything in the area.

1:37 p.m. – Abandoned vehicle at Dallas Parkway and County Road 50. Black Chevrolet pickup parked facing southbound traffic. Owner contacted by phone and advised vehicle is a traffic hazard and he is contacting a towing service.

2:19 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 100 block of South Alabama Drive. Two juveniles spray painting apartment building. Unable to locate juveniles in area. Offense report completed.

6:47 p.m. – 911 hang-up in the 1200 block of Settlers Ridge Road. Officer checked with both nurses' stations and was advised everything is O.K. No report taken.

7:54 p.m. – Noise complaint in the 700 block of West Oak Street. Loud music. Male advised to turn music down. No report taken.
