Bass in Cowboys training camp

Plano West alum Ben Bass made the last day of cuts, but was let go Friday by the Dallas Cowboys.
The 6-foot-5, 283-pound defensive end had made an impact in training camp despite not being drafted out of Texas A&M. Before joining the Aggies, Bass was the 26th ranked defensive end in the country as a senior at West and also played offensive line for the Wolves.
