Eduardo Najera named new coach of Texas Legends
Former Dallas Maverick Eduardo Najera is retiring from the NBA and coming to Frisco.
Najera has accepted an offer to become the new head coach, and part owner, of the NBA D-League's Texas Legends.
Mavericks' president of basketball operations and Legends co-owner Donnie Nelson also offered Najera a spot in the Mavs' front office. The 36-year-old Najera will take over coaching duties from Del Harris after playing his last season with the Charlotte Bobcats.
