Police calls for June 25 – July 9 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

June 25

4:29 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 500 block of West Pecan Street. Lights on vehicle flashing. Vehicle appears locked, no apparent signs of tampering. Did not make contact with resident due to late hour.

10:49 a.m. – Reckless driver at Frontier and County Road 50. Gray truck all over the roadway. Unable to locate.

6:49 p.m. – Parking violation in the 3400 block of South Preston Road. Reporting Person said there is a car parked in loading zone parking and it doesn’t have a permit. RP has a subject with her that uses a wheelchair. RP is not able to get her out of vehicle right outside the gym. Traffic citation issued.

9:52 p.m. – Harassment in the 200 block of West Beech Street. Suspect advised to stop texting her mother.

June 26

10:07 a.m. – Assist fire department in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Structure fire at Dickie’s. Referred to another agency. Celina Fire Department on scene. Fire was out before arrival.

12:20 p.m. –Minor accident at Oklahoma and Preston. Minor damage, no report. Contacted RP by phone and advised her to download Texas crash blue form from the internet and file the accident. Vehicle was struck from behind while at a stop sign.

1:38 p.m. – Domestic disturbance in the 200 block of West Oak Street. Mother and daughter fighting in the front yard. No offense occurred. Daughter was angry at her mother and started cussing at her. Mother told daughter to get out of the house. The only contact made was when mother was disciplining her daughter.

3:27 p.m. – Juvenile problem in the 200 block of Mustang Trail. Juveniles shooting Reporting Person’s house with paintball guns. No offense occurred. Juvenile apologized to RP.

4:24 p.m. – Theft in the 400 block of Palomino Lane. Reporting Person has been a victim of identity theft and needs a police report. Offense report filed.

5:20 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances at Farm-to-Market Road 455 and County Road 10. Between Pecan County Rod and County Lane Road gold older model Cougar in a field near a barn. Vehicle has been wrecked out and shot up. Also should be a pile of mattresses near by it. Referred to Denton County Sheriff’s office.

9:49 p.m. – Found property at Heritage Trail and Perigrine Point. Found 2 bikes in ditch. Unable to locate owner of bikes. Bikes placed in property.

June 27

1:41p.m. Major accident in the 800 block of North Preston Road. Location is in Prosper. CCSO at location in Prosper.

4:41 p.m. – Road rage in the 1600 block of County Road 128. Bicycle/car incident, suspect followed Reporting Person to his house. No offense occurred..

6:57 p.m. – Found property in the 3900 block of Peregrine Point. Transported found property to owner. No report.

8:20 p.m. – Animal complaint at Preston and Carter Ranch. Two dogs leaving Carter Ranch area headed north on Preston. Looked like pit bulls. Cars are having to swerve to avoid hitting dogs and it’s causing traffic problems. Did not locate dogs.

9:41 p.m. – Noise complaint in the 1200 block of Stanford Lane. Noisy people in pool area, pool closed at 9 p.m. Advised large group of teens in the pool that pool was closed at 9 p.m. and to leave. Waited till everyone left. No report taken.

10:18 p.m. – Assist other agency at Farm-to-Market Road and Frontier. Yellow Jeep occupied by 16-year-old who is intoxicated on side of roadway. Did not locate vehicle. Only Jeep in area, made contact and was unrelated to call.

June 28

7:48 a.m. –Traffic hazard in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Sheetrock on roadway. Removed sheet rock from roadway..

2:06 p.m. – Harassment in the 400 block of South Ohio Drive. Reporting Person’s girlfriend was harassed at store and followed home by three men, three men messed with Reporting Person’s car. This isn’t first time RP has had problems with these three. Older male followed RP in store, but didn’t make any comments or contact with RP. No offense occurred.

2:24 p.m. – Theft in the 700 block of North Preston Road. Reporting Person was missing 11 pills out of her prescription that she picked up today. RP just wanted documentation in case it is a common occurrence..

2:26 p.m. – Disturbance on Oak Street. Checking area for suspect vehicle. Subjects turned left on Oak Street. Can’t see through back glass because there is something red on it. Made contact with subject who said he did confront Reporting Person about harassing someone. Advised not to make contact with RP anymore..

7:41 p.m. –Disturbance in the 12000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Husband is fighting with people in vehicle, 2 adults in vehicle with 1 child. Unable to locate..

June 29

2:10 p.m. –Fraud in the 400 block of Tolleson Drive. Reporting Person states that her ex-husband has used her credit card without her permission. Fraud report has been filed..

5:41 p.m. – Minor accident in the 300 block of South Louisiana Drive. Owner of auto wanted criminal trespass issued. Incident report completed..

8:55 p.m. –Animal complaint in the 400 block of South Ohio Drive. Aggressive dog trying to bite children. Leashed in front yard. Animal Control picked up dog..

10:54 p.m. – Animal complaint in the 1300 block of Bateman Lane. Reporting Person’s neighbors are out of town. RP believes there is a dog in backyard harassing the dogs. They’ve been barking for about 4 hours. Saw a brown lab earlier today in the area. Spoke to owner, they are trying to make arrangements for an injured dog that is in the backyard. .

June 30

4:17 a.m. – Suspicious person in the 100 block of West Walnut Street. Observed unknown subject walking in the middle of the street. Subject dressed like a female, traffic citation issue..

9:11 a.m. –Motorist assist in the 800 block of South Preston Road. Reporting Person ran out of gas. Took RP to gas station to buy gas can and gas..

11:10 am. - Suspicious circumstances in the 100 block of South Illinois Drive. Reporting Person thinks that her neighbor took her mail. Post Office found her mail in a different box.

6:08 p.m. – Disturbance in the 300 block of Stefhanie Drive. Disturbance with ex-husband over child custody. Reporting Person stated her ex-husband came over refusing to leave and forced his way inside. Suspect left with his daughter shortly after that. RP wanted this documented but no offense. Advised RP to call 911 if he returns.

10:20 p.m. – Fireworks complaint in the 2700 block of Apaloosa Lane. Unable to locate.

10:36 p.m. – Fireworks complaint in the 300 block of Tarpan Trail. Unable to locate.

July 1

1:24 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 1200 block of Stanford Lane. Reporting Person said pool is across street from her backyard and that there is possible drug deal going on. Offense report completed.

7:22 p.m. – Animal complaint the 200 block of North Texas Drive. Animal Control took dog.

8:18 p.m. – Juvenile problem in the 900 block of West Oak Street. Three juveniles running around neighborhood shooting rabbits with pellet guns. Unable to locate..

11:34 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 1200 block of Stanford Lane. Truck and someone’s boots and someone’s clothes are there but no one around. Reporting Person there to clean pool. Spoke to 2 teens that were at pool. They did not know they could not swim at that time.

July 2

1:15 a.m. – Assist fire department at Bobcat Kuntry. Fuel leak, blocked off road, task completed.

5:08 a.m. - Abandoned vehicle in the 700 block of North Louisiana Drive blocking southbound lane in the dark. Unable to reach owner and the vehicle was towed.

5:08 a.m. – Theft in the 1200 block of Drake Lane. Stolen vehicle. Stolen vehicle recovered in the 700 block of North Louisiana Drive.

8:53 a.m. – Motorist assist at Preston and Frontier. Small black car with flat tire on north side of Frontier near Preston. Unable to locate.

12:56 p.m. - Disturbance in the 400 block of South Ohio Street. Disturbance between juvenile male and his father. No offense occurred.

6:08 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 1200 block of Redbud Street. Driver door standing open on vehicle in driveway. Owner had run in the residence for a minute, had not been tampered with.

8:51 p.m.- Citizen contact in the 300 block of North Arizona Drive. Flagged down by resident. Someone knocking on her window around 1 or 2 a.m. several mornings. Extra patrol requested.

9:18 p.m. - Open door in the 2900 block of Morgan Drive. Reporting Person advised he just got home and his front door is standing wide open. All secured. No report taken.

July 3

1:43 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 600 block of West Walnut Street. Rear hatch open on vehicle. No answer at front door of residence. Logged for time of discovery.

2:16 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of North Oklahoma Drive. Clothing lying in street. Torn shirt and doo rag in street. While checking area officer located a large painting beside the roadway and collected it as found property.

4:02 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Louisiana and County Road 994. Vehicle pulling into residences and then leaving. Paper delivery, situation resolved.

9:30 a.m. - Traffic hazard at Beech and New Mexico Streets. Stop sign down. Public works notified.

12:22 p.m. - Fireworks complaint in the 3200 block of North Preston Road. Grass fire started by fireworks shot from a moving van. Arrested 2 juvenile males and transported to Collin County juvenile detention center.

8:36 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 200 block of North Texas Drive. Someone dropped dog off in front of residence. Reporting Person will keep dog until it is picked up by Animal Control.

8:42 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 2800 block of Morgan Drive. Report that dogs had tried to bite Reporting Person. Referred to another agency. Same dogs as previous call, animals were picked up by Animal Control.

8:45 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 400 block of Mustang Trail. Dog bit Reporting Person. Referred to another agency. Animals picked up by Animal Control. Dog bite report completed.

10:14 p.m. - Vehicle disturbance in the 2700 block of Old Stables Drive. Dirt bikes making lots of noise going up and down street. Spoke to owner of dirt bike, owner advised he was test-driving for individual to buy. No report taken.

11:12 p.m. - Vehicle disturbance at Old Stables and Equine. Motorcycle going up and down road. Did not locate motorcycle.

11:35 p.m. - City code violation at Carter Ranch and Palomino. Juveniles out after curfew and in park after close. Juveniles were sent home.

July 4

12:43 a.m. - Assist fire department at County Roads 84 and 83. Grass fire, referred to fire department. Remained on scene until released by fire department.

3:48 a.m. - Citizen contact in the 2800 block of Stallions Lane. Subject in roadway, resident in front of his house talking on phone.

3:52 a.m. - Open door in the 2600 block of Old Stables Drive. Open door on new construction home, no one inside.

8:26 a.m. - Minor accident in the 500 block of West Maple Street. Waved down by motorist. Minor accident between garbage truck and vehicle. Truck was turning and rubbed back bumper of other vehicle. Damage was very minor. Drivers exchanged information.

9:38 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 600 block of East Sunset Boulevard. Reporting Person states that an unknown female contacted him and said she is being stalked and that they have subject on video. Victim has not contacted officer today for a stalking call. Advised RP to make a CD of the video. No offense occurred.

3:56 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of Mustang Trail. Reporting Person thinks someone has knocked over things in her backyard. Patio table was turned over. Officer told RP she would be added to the extra patrol list. No offense occurred.

9:12 p.m. - Fireworks complaint in the 3500 block of Mallard Lane. Fireworks from north side of residence landing in Reporting Person's yard. Unable to locate.

9:22 p.m. - Prowler in the 400 block of Tarpan Trail. Unknown person knocked on RP's window. RP observed suspect jump over fence. Unable to locate.

10:02 p.m. - Fireworks complaint at Apaloosa and Shire. Unable to locate.

11:58 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Light Farms and County Road 51. Ford truck driving around barricade. Driver said they were looking for a place to shoot off fireworks. They left area.

July 5

12:22 a.m. - Assist fire department at Fairfield and Smiley. Located 2 small grass fires. Referred to Celina fire department.

12:54 a.m. - Theft in the 200 block of North Texas Drive. Theft of wallet occurred in Gunter. Reporting Person was assaulted by suspect. Report made for assault.

7:26 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 600 block of East Sunset Boulevard. Observed a subject that is known for soliciting, talking to motorists at the Brookshire's gas station. No offense occurred. Subject left gas station when officer pulled up.

9:38 p.m. - Fireworks complaint in the 300 block of North Arizona Drive. Unable to locate.

10:40 p.m. - 911 hang-up in the 600 block of East Sunset Boulevard. No one talking, says it is business phone, possible phone problems. Number returns to emergency call box at express lane. No one around.

July 6

9:41 p.m. - Disturbance in the 200 block of North Colorado Drive. Reporting Person advised there is a female trying to fight everyone at this address. Verbal only.

9:42 – Backup officer in the 200 block of North Colorado Drive. Reporting Person advised female trying to fight everyone at this address. Backup only, assisted on disturbance.

9:57 p.m. - Firearm complaint in the 300 block of North Arizona Drive. Couple of shots possibly from across the street. Made contact with Reporting Person, advised that he has heard loud pops the last couple of nights. He said it may be fireworks. Will patrol area for anything other than fireworks. No report taken.

11:50 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 400 block of Tolleson Drive. Reporting Person stated her ex-husband just stole mail out of her mailbox again. Information report taken.

July 7

1:21 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of East Pecan Street. Vehicle with lights on parked in front of store, no one around. Driver was inside, just could not be seen from rear of vehicle. Waiting on father to bring a spare tire.

2:39 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 2800 block of Saddlebred Trail. Reporting Person advised he heard voices outside his house. He looked and saw someone's shadow outside the residence in the corner. Unable to locate.

3:25 a.m. - Suspicious person in the 300 block of Shire Lane. Reporting Person saw subject standing outside address with a hammer. Spoke to both Reporting Person and the suspect, no offense occurred. Situation resolved, no report taken.

7:35 a.m. - Prowler in the 2800 block of Saddlebred Trail. Reporting Person think he hears someone inside his residence. Residence was secure and no signs of anyone inside. No offense occurred.

8:32 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 3600 block of Heritage Trail. Barking dog behind location. Unable to locate.

12 p.m. - Minor accident in the 300 block of West Walnut Street. Three-vehicle minor accident. Accident report completed.

2:52 p.m. - Assist fire department at Maple and Colorado. Severe weather hit with high winds and heavy rain. Some power outage. Assist fire department.

3:39 a.m. - Traffic hazard at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and Dallas Parkway. Large sign blown over in the roadway. Removed large sign from roadway.

July 8

2:34 a.m. - Disturbance in the 900 block of West Bois D'arc Street. Reporting Person states there were two fighting, one subject is outside again walking away. Upon arrival male outside beating on back door to residence. Subject had blood on hands, shirt and face with a strong odor of alcohol on breath. Subject arrested for public intoxication.

5:19 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of East Pecan Street. Two subjects sleeping in car. Waiting for store to open, no offense occurred.

6:12 a.m. - Loose livestock in the 17000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 428. Assist Denton County sheriff with 3 loose horses on roadway. Referred to another agency, located horse owner who will secure them.

2:28 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 11000 block of County road 99. Reporting Person heard several shots fired from the location and saw 3 males run to a truck. Resident fired several shots into ground.

3:44 p.m. - Criminal mischief in the 300 block of Shire Lane. Someone tried to pry rear door. Offense report completed.

4:17 p.m. - Disturbance in the 1500 block of South Preston Road. Male creating disturbance in parking lot. Unable to locate, suspect had left location.

8:10 p.m. - Loose livestock at Farm-to-Market Roads 455 and 2478. White cow in roadway. Unable to locate cow.

10:41 p.m. - Traffic stop at Walnut and Tolleson. Improper right turn, wide right fail to maintain single lane. Driver arrested for possession of marijuana.

11:12 p.m. - Noise complaint in the 3000 block of Cedar Trail. Spoke to homeowner and he advised that he will calm dogs down if they begin barking again. No report taken.

11:43 p.m. - Noise complaint in the 200 block of North Colorado Drive. Loud music. Advised resident to keep music down. No report taken.

July 9

12:27 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 300 block of Shire Lane. Reporting Person advised loud noise on Shire Lane. Made contact at address, no noise or party at residence.

1:15 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Vehicle in parking lot with 2 subjects inside. Subjects were traveling and looking for a place to take a nap.

3:32 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Vehicle in parking lot of closed business. Was waiting on friend to meet him.
