Master Gardeners to host plant sale

On April 28 the Denton County Master Gardeners are having its annual plant sale, featuring great selections of hard-to-find trees, shrubs, ground covers and bedding plants.
The plants can be purchased at the sale, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 633 Hobson Lane in Denton.
Residents will find an expanded selection of herbs, Texas native plants, tough as nails perennials, and no-fuss roses. This is a way to find those plants that you can only get from a Master Gardener that the Nurseries don't carry.
Residents are encouraged to come early for the best selection as the best will go early.
In addition, the Master Gardeners Garden Shoppe will be open featuring garden books, gloves, bird houses, colorful metal art and unique stone pieces.
